Zion Wright – 2023 – 6’3 Wing – Carolina Pressure Basketball

Zion Wright is playing up a level but he didn’t show it as he paced his team with 17 points in a huge comeback victory. With his team down 36-29 at halftime, Wright didn’t show any signs of giving up. He controlled the boards and racked a few and-1 plays down on the block. When he touched the basketball, something good happened every time.

Khalil McDaniels – 5’11 Guard – Carolina Pressure Basketball

Carolina Pressure got a big second half from guard Khalil McDaniels, another key cog in their comeback victory. McDaniels scored 16 points in the second half along with a slew of 3-pointers to help power his team back into the game. As they stuck together, he found himself making a number of big shots to power his team to victory.

Chase Tillman – 6’5 Forward – Upward Stars Riverfront

Chase Tillman came off the bench for the Upward Stars, but he made his presence known right away with his presence on the boards and defensive end. He came up with big blocks and big shots in the paint on numerous occasions for his team. He’s a big body that knows how to use his size and speed to his advantage in the frontcourt.

Austin Harrell – 6’0 Point Guard – Upward Stars Riverfront

Austin Harrell is the definition of a prototypical point guard. He’s an active defender in the passing lanes and on the ball and on offense, he runs the pick-and-roll to perfection, always making the right play and rarely ever turning it over. His shot wasn’t falling all game, but he showed tremendous confidence shooting as well.

Carlton Terry II – 2022 – 6’0 Guard – Team Wall

Carlton Terry II is a playmaker with the ball in his hands. He opened the game 3-for-3 from the 3-point arc in Team Wall’s opening victory over the Palmetto City Hurricanes. Terry showed off an array of moves off the dribble and off the catch and even on turnovers, he sprinted back on defense to make a big block. He’s a player with high-major potential.

Devin Gillispie – 2022 – 6’3 Guard – Team Wall

Devin Gillespie was another top performer for Team Wall in their win over the Palmetto City Hurricanes. Gillespie is an athletic slasher with the ability to get to the paint and finish strong against contact. He got to the paint whenever he wanted and got to the free throw line with relative ease when needed as well.

Jeremiah Jones – 2022- 5’8 Guard – NC Flames

Jeremiah Jones is a smart guard that is always looking to make the right play. He opened the first half a perfect 4-for-4 from behind the arc for the NC Flames and opened the game with 15 points in the first half to pace his squad. He’s an unselfish guard who should start getting some looks.

Evan Montanari – 2022 – 5’10 Guard – NC Flames

Evan Montanari is an aggressive guard for the NC Flames 2022 squad. Working in tandem with  Jeremiah Jones, Montanari is a nice change of pace and allows the Flames spread offense to move without a hitch. He’s a solid catch-and-shoot and can create his own shot off the dribble. Not afraid to handle the ball and make plays when needed.
