Here are players to watch for at the Queen City Middle School Showcase on February 23-24.

Khalil Campbell'
Class of 2023 C 6’2″
Coaches Thoughts: He runs the floor well for a kid his size. Campbell also provides great protection at the rim and finishes with touch around the basket. He can face up or play with his back to the basket. He has led his team in rebounds and points in all three seasons.

Cameron Alston
Class of 2023 SG 5’7″
Coaches Thoughts:'Cam prides himself on his defense. He is usually asked to guard the opponents’ best player. He is not limited to one side of the ball and can score from all 3 levels. He earned Co-MVP of his middle school team, where he averaged double figures. Alston can provide great leadership from the PG position, but is ready when called on to score.

Amarian Charles
Class of 2023 SG 5’7″
Coaches Thoughts:'This kid has a great motor and plays hard on both ends of the floor. His jump-shot has improved and he finished well through contact at the rim. He can play any position from the 1-4 with no drop off. He defends well and applies constant pressure to opposing defenders. Charles also rebounds very well for a guard his size.

Devin Grainger
Class of 2024 PG 5’11”
Coaches Thoughts:'Rangy lefty that can play all positions on the court. He is a lock down defender that provides problems with his length. He can score from all 3 levels and earned Co-MVP honors at his middle school this past season where he averaged double figure scoring.

Wardell Brantley
Class of 2023 SF 5’11”
Coaches Thoughts:'A kid that continued to blossom during his time with us. He is a deep threat but can also finish well at the rim. He’s also not afraid to mix it up down low with bigger defenders.
