No one expected Ishan White to have the type of April that he had. Even those who had seen him play numerous times did not fully expect White to walk out of April as a legitimate high major prospect.

However, that is exactly what happened. He walked into Phenom's Challenge Live not only not having any offers, but no colleges were in regular contact with him. He was off the radar. Playing in a few games in front of 75+ coaches each time and White walks out of the event with 6 offers. Not only were the Division 1 offers, but one was from Oklahoma State, which is a Power 5 offer.

Watching him play, seeing what White does, it is easy to see why Oklahoma State quickly jumped on board. His game is very similar to Utah Jazz forward Jae Crowder. He is a great blend of power, explosion and finesse. He is a mismatch on offense with his ball skills and strength. He is a versatile defender with his strength and ability to move his feet.

After watching him play we wrote, 'BEAST MODE'..That's what Ishan was in during the first half of his game vs. CP3 U16. He scored 21 points in 16 minutes from everywhere (dunks, mid range, FTs and of course a couple of threes). His production continued in the 2nd half, but not at the same rate. He is a powerful, explosive forward who also has a knack for blocking shots on the defensive end. He needs to continue to develop his ball handling skills. Overall, a very promising prospect.'

Along with Oklahoma State, Presbyterian, Winthrop, Charleston Southern, SC State and Stetson have offered. Now the he showed out on Phenom Hoops' platform, look for him to be on top of many more college programs lists. This July should be huge for him.
