6'2' 2020 Jajuan Carr
Heide Trask HS/WBC Elite 17s

If you don't know the name JaJuan Carr yet, as fans and as college coaches you need to go ahead and get to know it. This season he led his Heide Trask High School team to a 25-3 record and in doing so the sophomore led his team in points, assists and steals while finishing second in rebounds.

He is a sturdy and explosive point guard. He can shoot, handle and pass the ball at a high level, while also knocking down jump shots consistently. The guard averaged 17 points, 52% from the field, 38% from three, 5.4 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game this season.

Playing up for WBC Elite 17u, Carr led his team to a 3-1 record at Phenom's Grassroots Tip Off Live. He averaged 16 points per game, showing the ability to score at every level. The high academic Carr also carries a 3.7 GPA as well.

His production this year earned him an invite to prestigious North Carolina Top 80 where he really showed out. After his performance we wrote, 'It was a good outing for the young pass first point guard. He is a natural floor leader and extension of the coach. We were impressed with his overall effort and willingness to play both ends of the court. In addition, JaJuan has a high basketball IQ for his age/grade. He averaged 12.7 PPG and played well within the team structure. He wasn't a ball dominant point guard and scored within the rhythm and framework of the game.'

Mid-level coaches should go ahead and start watching him. He is a guard who translates already and is only getting better, with two years of high school remaining.
