2020 'Standouts'

6'2 Tristan Maxwell (North Mecklenburg)

Tristan Maxwell, simply put, is an elite level shooter and will be in the conversation as one of the best shooters in the country for his class. Maxwell moves extremely well without the ball and terrific in a catch and shoot scenario. He has a quick release although he could use a tad more arch at times. That being said, Maxwell is such an efficient player. Rarely does have the ball in his hands or tries to be ball dominant. We have always been impressed with his unselfish play, although he averaged 25.5 in the two scrimmage games.

6'7 Jaden Seymour (Northside Christian)

Talk about upside. Jaden Seymour is oozing with potential. We're talking about a slender, yet strong frame, who has tremendous length, reach and enormous wingspan. Seymour can score from all three levels and is highly effective in attacking the rim where he can utilize his superior length and athleticism. Seymour averaged 17.3 PPG for Northside and will become one of the hotter names on the recruiting radar in the North Carolina 2020 class.

6'1 Jake Ledbetter (High Point Christian)

Jake Ledbetter has game. He is such a fundamentally sound player that plays with a high basketball IQ who is quite crafty to boot. Ledbetter averaged 15.7 PPG in the three scrimmage games and showcased an all-around skill set.' While he is not the most athletic player on the court, Ledbetter is able to overcome these deficiencies with his crafty play. He has a great feel for the game and has the ability to make impact plays using his basketball smarts.

6'6 Jackson Threadgill (Concord HS)

Jackson Threadgill has tremendous length, basketball IQ and impeccable feel for the game. While he will need to add strength, which will come as he grows older and matures, he has a game that translates well to the collegiate level. Threadgill can score from all three levels and has a soft shooting touch that extends beyond the 3-point line.

6'1 Lee Langstaff (Carolina Day)

Lee Langstaff has excellent length, athleticism and speed in the open court. He scored constantly with his aggressive drives to the basket. In addition, Langstaff showcased the ability to create his shot off the bounce/dribble and was an effective and disruptive on ball defender.
