Phenom High School Jamboree Team Preview
NW Guilford HS
Coach Lee Reavis'

NW Guilford has long been a traditional power in the NCHSAA 4A classification. Coach Lee Reavis has built a program on solid fundamentals and has done an excellent job of bringing consistency to the program. He is highly regarded as one of the nicer guys in the business and his teams are always well coached. Last year, NW Guilford finished 21-6 losing to North Mecklenburg in the 2nd round of the NCHSAA 4A playoffs. 'This season, Coach Reavis has the makings of another successful season. NW Guilford will open the season at the Phenom High School Jamboree. Now, let's take a closer look at a few of the impact players for NW Guilford.

5'11 '20 Christian Hampton

Christian Hampton is blessed with high level athleticism and tremendous bounce. The southpaw can score from all three levels but excels in attacking the rim. He has a ultra quick first step and has the ability to finish above the rim. At the past NC Top 80, we were also impressed with his overall toughness especially on the defensive side of the ball.' Without question, Christian has a chance to be one of the best two-way players in the state for his class.

6'7 '20 Dean Reiber

Dean Reiber has good size, an advanced skill set, but most of all plays with a high motor. He can score from multiple spots on the court' and has a soft shooting touch from the perimeter, not to mention efficiency from the 3-point line. At the recent NC Top 80, we stated the following.''Dean has good size and the passion to play the game. He's willing and ready to do what is needed to help his team win. He can cover the perimeter and the post, as his footwork is very nice.''In addition, Dean has such a versatile skill set and could develop into one of the better players in the area for his class.

6'0 '19 Tristian Perry

We're always been a fan of his game. The southpaw has a high basketball IQ and tremendous feel for the game. He has excellent range and can really score off the catch especially from the 3-point line. Tristian simply has a soft shooting touch and can really light it up from deep. More importantly, he's the type of player that makes winning plays and does all the little things that are often needed to win that may not show up in the boxscore.
