6'4 2019 Cameron Phronebarger Upward Stars
Cameron made himself known early in the game by snagging a
rebound, taking it the length of the court, side stepping through the
lane and finally dunking over 2 defenders. He is an outstanding
athlete who plays hard with a high motor. When Cameron was in go
mode there was nobody on the court that could keep him from the
rim.
5'10 2020 Walker Lackey Team Winston
Walker doesn't pass the look test, but per usual that doesn't matter.
Walker is a tough lead guard who's strong with the ball and can
shoot it. His basketball IQ is high, and he knows how to run the
show for a very talented Team Winston 16u Team. With all the
prospects that are on this Team Winston team Walker does a great
job of getting them into their sets and getting the ball where it
needs to go.
5'10 2020 Demetrius Washington Phoenix Purple
Quick, shifty point guard who changes speeds extremely well. He
showed a nice jump shot off the dribble and was very crafty with
the ball in his hands. What impressed me Most was his
competitiveness his team was down 20+ nearly the whole game but
he never stopped going at the other team.
6'4 2019 Quinten Thomas Upward Stars
Very athletic with a nice jump shot. Goes hard after every rebound.
His motor is impressive as he plays hard on every possession. He
was one of the few guys today I heard talk on defense every
possession. His intangible mixed with athleticism and skill set
should make him one to watch this summer.
