Phenom Hoops had 40 teams come through our doors in June as we ran our annual Summer Jams. A series of high school team camps we do, Session 1 in Greensboro, NC and Session 2 in Columbia, SC. These events are held so that high school teams are able to get competition during the June team camp season. It is also so these teams can gain exposure for their players.

Here are some players who enhanced their stock moving into the July live period'College coaches would be smart to check in on each of these players, they are multiple offer types whose offer list isn't near what it should be.

6'6' 2018 Isaiah Bigelow
Phenom's Summer Jam Session 1
Ben L Smith (Greensboro, NC)

It is perplexing how Bigelow can still be under the radar. He plays at a large 4A school in a large city in NC where he averaged 12 points and led his team in 3-point shooting at a lengthy 6'6'. He plays in a Team Felton which sends kids D1 year after year, yet coming into July of his senior year he only has North Florida and Western Carolina offers. Well kudos to those two programs for offering and recruiting a kid who is better than their league. Bigelow has great length and good athleticism. However, his calling card is his shooting ability. Last year Tevin Brown blew up to over 20 offers last July after playing in the Summer Havoc, we can forsee the same thing for Bigelow this year as they are similar type players.

6'4' 2018 Kevin Williamson
Phenom's Summer Jam Session 2
Aiken HS (Aiken, SC)

By all accounts, Williamson is a gym rat. He is a self made player who has gotten to where he is by early mornings and late nights spent in the gym. He also has a little genetics that have gone into it as Williams stands as a lengthy 6'4' shooting guard. He is a good athlete and a sure fire 3-level scorer who can create off the bounce or shoot with range off the catch. Right now Williamson, astonishingly, has no recruitment. That should start to change ASAP, D1s around the region need to get their eyes on him, high character kid who can flat out score the ball.

6'3' 2019 Caleb Mills
Phenom's Summer Jam Session 2
Asheville Christian (Asheville, NC)

Mills is right on the verge of a major breakout. Asheville Christian had this happen a couple of years ago with now Oklahoma sophomore Jordan Shepherd as he went virtually under the radar and then came through his freshman year as a contributor. Mills may be more polished than Shepherd at the same stage. Mills has good length and a great feel for scoring the ball. He has 3-level ability with touch and range. One of the things that sticks out about Mills is his ability to pass and see the floor. It was about this time that Shepherd found his 40' vertical, already able to play at the rim, if Mills can find some more spring his game will be very loud. Only holding a Winthrop offer currently, expect mid-majors to jump on board and high majors to start watching closely.

6'5' 2018 Torey James
Phenom's Summer Jam Session 1
Hickory HS (Hickory, NC)

James is a unique talent, and when it comes to unique college coaches typically take a little more time to evaluate.'This is sure to be what is happening with James at this point, as he does not have any offers to speak of. James has a great frame, with good size. He shoots the ball very well off the catch beyond the arc or the 1 and 2 dribble pull up in the mid range. What sets James apart is his ability to distribute the ball. He has high level vision, with a true ability to play the 1, 2 or 3 in a given situation. With his skill set expect James to go through this high school season with multiple triple/doubles on his resume. This July his offer list will change (and should change drastically), he is the type that once that first offer comes more will follow.
