Trey is a physical playmaker, powerful and quick and combines that with a smooth shooting stroke and
high level shot making ability.  His combination of good size, sheer strength, quickness and athleticism
make him difficult to defend as he can bully most point guards and get to the rim but also has some crafty
playmaking skills along with good quickness that makes it difficult for bigger players to stay in front of
him.  Trey has very good ball handling skills, nothing fancy but combined with his physical tools and the
ability to change speeds and directions quickly allows him to get where he wants to in the floor.  His
strength allows him to appear on balance at all times. He is a punishing finisher but also has some
creative finishes when engaging opposing bigs where he can hang in the air fighting off contact and get
his shot off.  Trey is a three level scoring threat who can hit the three with good consistency and also get
into the lane and pull-up and knock down shots. Gets very good elevation on the jumper and has sound
mechanics. He has a great touch scoring on the move and really excels in both the half court an in the
open floor. Makes good decisions and does a great job handling the ball and finding open teammates in
both settings.  Attacks hard closeouts with a quick rip move and can either attack the rim or pull-up and
score.  Plays either guard position effectively, productively.  Trey is an explosive leaper and rebounds
exceptionally well for a guard.  He defends multiple positions and really brings a degree of toughness and
competitiveness that sets the tone.  Rhode Island and IUPUI have shown interest but you can expect that
list to grow quickly as the summer rolls along.  No doubt big things like ahead for Trey Thomas, he has a
great feel, competitiveness and the physical tools to be an impact presence on both ends of the floor!
