Georges is a terrific athlete, bouncy and strong with good quickness and capable ball handling skills. An
extremely versatile player, he is able to beat you with the dribble attacking the rim with powerful strides
and crafty ball handling or he can beat you off the ball working mostly in the mid range areas or along the
baseline with the catch and shoot jumper and strong finishes around the rim. He is comfortable handling
the ball on the perimeter and attacking off the dribble using a nice quick crossover move and his physical
frame and upper body strength allowing him to bully many defenders and get to the rim. I was impressed
watching him operate out of the triple threat where he uses his long jabs and shot fakes to create
separation. He is very good going to the basket and showed good patience and a nice variety of moves he
can use in order to get a good look. He has a good touch on mid range, short jumpers and at the rim and
his physical tools allows him to finish through contact. Extremely aggressive slasher, he looks to get to
the rim for finishes or to draw contact and get to the line. He just overwhelms defenders with his power
off the jump stop and muscles his way to the rim but also has a nice touch on runners, floaters. He has
very good scoring potential and will become an impact scorer in short order. Also a very unselfish player
has good vision and is able to create plays for teammates. Georges is a threat with the jumper and likes
shooting off the quick hop where he gets good elevation and a nice high, fluid release. Also very good
pulling up off the dribble. Georges is an extremely active rebounder on both ends of the floor using his
length, very good leaping ability and a great motor to pursue rebounds. He also has the mechanics and
quick feet to guard multiple positions and defend the dribble. He is just breaking out but really has a ton
of potential and all the physical tools to be an impact player. As he continues his development he is going
to be more than a handful for opponents and I expect a potential double/double player. He plays for a
coach in Coach Cofer who is known for developing talent and getting the best out of his players so I have
great confidence that Georges Archer will emerge as a college prospect. Coaches should begin
monitoring him now!
