Dante has a chance to be really special! He is a long 6'3 with a huge wingspan, very athletic and offers a great deal of versatility. He is a very active rebounder using not only his length but very good leaping ability and strong repeat jumps to stay engaged against taller players. Dante does a good job cleaning up the offensive glass while also providing scoring off the bounce and on spot ups in the mid range area. He is very good attacking the basket off the dribble and demonstrates a good amount of blow by speed and a capable handle. Dante uses his long strides and a nice burst attacking off the dribble and finishes nicely showing a nice touch around the rim. A left hander he has very good and repeatable shot mechanics and smoothness to his game. He rebounds both ends of the floor aggressively, has a great motor and outworks people. Dante can defend both forward and some guards on the perimeter using his length and quickness. He anticipates well and demonstrates a solid feel on both ends of the floor. He should be a key part of Prince George High School ‘s immediate future. Prince George Head Coach Travis Carr is excited having Dante in their program. 'My eyes lit up when I met him for the first time and noticed his length and extremely long wingspan. It was a delightful surprise when he told me he just finished the 7th grade! Needless to say, I couldn't wait to get to work with him. For his age group, he uses his wing span to his advantage, whether it's on the boards or attacking the rim. What we really focused on during his JV season was using that length on defense and being able to guard multiple positions. With Dante, and a few other exciting young players, I am enthusiastic about the future of Prince George basketball as this group will continue to build on our recent success.'
