Blythewood vs Conway

Day 3 at the Palmetto Classic is here and with it we have 6 more games on tap. Game 6 on the day gives us our second of 2 championship games as Blythewood faces Conway for the title. Conway has pulled out a 2-0 record so far winning close games along the way while Blythewood has gotten stronger as the event has gone on and comes into the final after winning last night by 22 points. Would Conway have enough in the tank to get this one or would Blythewood roll onto the title' After a great week of games, it all comes down to this.
Both teams came out the gate looking hungry as neither gave an inch through 1 quarter of play. The two teams played at a fast pace and finished with Blythewood up 1, 17-16 after one. The pace would not slow any going into the 2nd but Blythewood would open up a 7 point lead to go in at half up 37-30. Conway would close the gap to 5 with a solid 3rd quarter but would need a big effort in the 4th to get the win. That would not be the case though as Blythewood would hold on till the end and take home the hardware. Your final in this is 63-60 Blythewood.

Players of note:

Blythewood:

Jonathan Breeland, 6'3 2018 G – 3 games, 3 tough performances. Picked up offer from Newberry this week as a result of his efforts. (15p/8r/1a)

Robert Braswell, 2019 F – Long shooter keeps on knocking them down from deep. Needs to add strength as his development continues but lots to like here about 6'8 wing. (9p/5r)

Conway:

Jimmy Nichols, 6'7 2018 F – Providence bound big did it all in this one. Back to back solid performances shows why the Friars are high on this kid. (22p/7r/1a/2 blocks)
