The July Live period is heating up this weekend as teams from across the nation make their way to Spartanburg, SC for Phenoms Summer Havoc.

Qwailei Turner, 6'3 2020 W with Upward Stars Southeast - Turner is a powerful young wing player with a lot of bounce to his game. Plus athlete is an easy riser who can finish at the rim with authority. Strong body allows him to finish through contact as well as pull down his share of boards. Not showing the jumper in this one but if you are getting easy looks in transition or on the put back you don't really need to show much else. Need to see more to know if he's more athlete than player but even if he isn't, he will find a spot on the floor and produce.

Keonte White, 6'7 2020 F with Team Carroll - White is a a load in the 2020 class. White showed well today making his mark as one of those rare bigs that actually know how to play big. He is built to handle play inside the paint on both ends of the floor. More bull dozer than sports car he is hard to move once he decides to lock into a spot on the floor. One of the better looking power prospects seen here in the 2020 class.

Robert Bonham III, 5'10 2020 G with Team Carroll - Robert has a passing gear on him that most will never get to. He uses that speed to great effect on both ends of the floor. On offense he uses it to go by the defender and glide to the lane and on D to jump passing lanes and create havoc on the floor. Missed a few outside shots but the form looked good suggesting that he is capable of complementing his attacking/slashing game with his perimeter one. Lopsided win limited his impact in second half but we saw enough to know kid can ball.

Willie Screws, 6'5 2020 F with Team Carroll - Strong young forward that looks comfortable in his game. Powerfully built yet glides out on the floor making moves look easy when he decides to go. Willie looks like a natural in transition as he can finish easy at the rim. Good bounce and timing makes him effective on the glass and with he shot block as well. Did not see enough to suggest a move out to the wing is possible but did show the athleticism needed to handle it.

Cedric Gray, 6' 2020 G with Team Synergy - Gray is a solid combo guard capable of giving you good production at the 1-3 spots on the floor. A stronger player, he can do multiple things in game that others in his age range can't. The shot needs some work and his vision could be better but tools and mindset are here to be developed further. Was able to get what he wanted in this one. Would like to see what he looks like as a man defender more but looked good in scheme he was asked to play.
