6’5 ‘19 Dillon Harrison (Union Academy HS)
Dillon Harrison been on our radar since he first attended the NC Phenom 150 camp back in 2015 and then again in 2016. The first thing you notice about Dillon is his advanced understanding of the game. We stated in our NC Phenom 150 evaluation, “Harrison simply knows how to play the game the right way. He has proper fundamentals and a high basketball IQ.” We have always been impressed with his relentless work ethic. Harrison is a low risk player that is willing to make the extra pass to get his teammates involved. Overall, Harrison has also done a fabulous job in the classroom as well where he sports an impressive 3.6 GPA.
6’4 ‘18 Caleb Bridgewater (East Gaston HS)
He first noticed Caleb Bridgewater last year at the 2016 Grassroots TOC. Bridgewater does an excellent job of scoring and his length and quickness are valuable physical attributes. Standing a lengthy 6’4, Bridgewater has the skills to play either guard position and has the ability to light it up from the 3-point line. In addition, Bridgewater sports an impressive 3.5 GPA and is getting interest from Montreat and Catawba.
6’2 ‘19 Demetrius Martin (Garinger HS)
We were really impressed with the play of Martin at our most recent Grassroots TOC held in April. We’re talking about a slender athletic point guard that can score from all three levels. In our Grassroots TOC write up, we stated the following. Martin was one of the best athletes on the court. After a strong high school season that ended with Martin claiming Conference POY, he carried that momentum right into travel ball.” What also impressive is the fact that Martin is one year younger since he is playing up a grade. That being said, Martin is an effective and productive two-way player that is flying under the collegiate radar
