Player previews for the Phenom Challenge April 21-23 in Spartanburg, SC

The Phenom Hoop Challenge will be on deck April 21-23 in Spartanburg, SC, with over 130+ teams looking to display their talent in front of college coaches during the Live Period.

Phenom Hoops wants to preview some players for each team, names that you might want to remember this weekend.

Jaylan Gainey - 2018, 6'10 F from Ben L. Smith High School. Jaylan is an elite rim protector, with soft touch around the rim that can stretch it out and shoot a consistent jumper as well. Jaylan is a mid to high major recruit with tremendous upside. Jaylan already has offers from, App St., Western Carolina, NC A&T, NC Central, Hampton, Denver and Maryland Eastern Shore. Along with those offers Mr. Gainey also has interest from, Campbell, Brown, Harvard, UNCG, Bucknell, Stetson, and Georgia Southern. With the live period starting this weekend, expect those offers and interests to continue to accumulate. Jaylan is also a 4.0 GPA student.

Isaiah Bigelow - 2018, 6'6 wing from Ben L. Smith High School. Isaiah is one of the best knock down shooters in the state. Not only is he an elite shooter, he can also get to the rim whenever he chooses. Isaiah has sneaky athleticism that allows him to be able to create off the dribble and rise up to finish above the rim and through contact. Isaiah already has offers from North Florida and Western Carolina. Along with those two offers, Isaiah has interests from App St, Elon, UNCG, and Campbell. Isaiah is an elite recruit that will continue to accumulate offers and interests this summer.

Jackson Gammons - 2019, 6'2 combo guard from Calvary Baptist. Jackson is a blue collar basketball player that does it all. Jackson can fill it up from deep, mid range and attack off the dribble. He has the athleticism and body control to finish through contact. He's the type of kid that gives opposing coaches headaches trying to figure out how to stop him. Although Jackson doesn't officially have an offer yet, he does have interests from Davidson, Elon, UNCG, UNCC, ECU and Lee's McRae. With the summer and live periods approaching, expect the offers to start flowing in. Jackson is also a 4.0 GPA student.
