Phenom Hoops caught up with 6’8, 2018 Josh Alexander from Iona Prep to find out the latest in his recruitment, as he has recently been grabbing some quality offers and more could be coming his way.

See what he had to say below:

PH: What offers do you currently hold?

JA: I already have offers from Fordham, Stony Brook, New Hampshire, Colgate, Quinnipiac, St. Francis, Siena, Hampton, and Binghamton.

PH: Who has been expressing interest as well your way?

JA: I’ve been hearing heavy interest from Yale, Cornell, Brown, Penn, Davidson, American, and Vermont.

PH: With the schools that have offered, what are they liking about your game on the court?

JA: They like how versatile of a player I am, how I can play inside and out and shoot the three-pointer.

PH: What schools have you visited?

JA: I’ve already visited Yale, Quinnipiac, Fordham, and Siena.  I plan on going to Stony Brook game this Saturday.  I don’t have any other visits planned yet.

PH: What about the schools that haven’t offered.  Think any may come with an offer and what have they said to you?

JA: I think most of them will come during the spring.  Most of them say that I need to get a little bit stronger and I will be fine.

PH: How would you best describe your game on the court and what you are capable of doing?

JA: I would say that I can do a little bit of everything.  I can shoot and I can post-up.  If I have a smaller guy on me, I can post him up but if I have a bigger guy on me, I can take him from the outside and blow by him.
