High School Coach Evaluation: Greg is a natural leader, his teammates vitate towards him!  He is a student of the game. He is averaging about 20pts, 6rebs, and 6 assists per game for us this year.  He is the cornerstone of our team. He loves to pass the ball and get everybody involved.  Greg is one of the main reasons Monacan one the state championship in 2016. I believe he is one of the best point guards in the state of Virginia and will be a steal at the next level. More importantly, he is a great student. He has a 3.4 gpa, and a 1050 sat. I've been coaching for almost 20 years, and he is one of the most complete players that I have seen. – Coach RJ Spelsberg, Head Coach Monacan HS Varsity Men’s Basketball

Coach Frank says: As his award filled and successful high school career suggests Gregory Parham is as good a guard as you will find in Virginia, capable of producing at either guard spot.  From his ball handling wizardry to his explosive starts and stops and crafty playmaking skills to his high IQ and court vision and his quick harassing defensive play, Parham is the complete package.  Gregory handles the ball like it’s on a string and has the elite athleticism that allows him to start abruptly and quickly explode into acceleration and beat defenders.  He has excellent vision and passing skills and combines sound playmaking skills with the ability to score from anywhere on the floor.  As effective as he is getting to the rim with blow by quickness, Parham is a dangerous threat on the perimeter as a shot maker with “in the gym” range.  Offensively he can beat you in so many ways while also making teammates better. He sets good screens, sprints through his cuts and makes good cuts to get open. Gregory plays with great energy and is the catalyst for one of Virginia’s top high school programs as he brings game changing effort and production on both ends of the floor.   He is a strong on ball defender with quick active hands and feet and defends with tenacity.
