It was the first day for the media to attend come to Charlottesville and watch some of the top players in the country play at the NBA Top 100.' It is going to be a long week of intense competition but there are already a few players, a few that Phenom Hoops is quite aware of already, that looks to be on a mission.

2020 6'7 Jabri Abdur-Rahim

  • This young man has a calming yet deadly feel to his game. A 6'7 prospect that can play the guard or small forward position, plays with confidence, and simply plays at his own pace; under control.' But whether it was finding open teammates, attacking the rim, or knocking down the open jumper, there wasn’t much he couldn’t do on the court.

2020 7'0 C Makur Maker

  • To have someone with his size, versatility, agility, and athleticism, it can be simply labeled as unfair. Some have labeled Maker as a big point guard, others have labeled him as a versatile big.' To sum it up, Maker plays postionless basketball and can play any position he wants or is needed too.' He has an impact on either end of the floor and at any spot as well.' Loved his ability to attack and put the ball on the deck, shoot the outside shot with confidence, and rebound as well.

2020 6'10 C Dayron Sharpe (UNC commit)

  • Sharpe played extremely well and seems to really be coming into his own as a player. Being a UNC commit, you can see that he will have several opportunities to shine in the coming years in Chapel Hill.' He runs the floor really well, has great hands, and you have to absolutely love his ability to rebound and provide second-chance opportunities for his team.' But he also displayed power and strength down in the paint as well.

2021 5'11 PG Zion Harmon

  • Harmon displayed a fantastic feel on the floor and uses his low frame to his strength. Harmon was one of the best, if not the best, scoring point guard on the floor today on Day 2 of the camp.' His handles on the floor are creative and quick, allowing him to get to the spots he needs to find that opening to score.' But don't look past his vision on the floor as well.

2021 6'9 Moussa Diabate

  • Diabate is still a young, developing big but can he make an impact on the floor. He brings a toughness with him on both sides of the floor.' Incredible on the defensive end but love his feel on the offensive end with his back to the basket or squaring up as well.' As he continues to add weight and continue to work on his game, it is scary how good he may become on both ends of the floor.
