5’6 2020 Robert Selden: Charlotte Nets 16U

Selden did a really good job in the 8:00 AM game asserting himself as a scoring threat on the offensive end.  He is definitely undersized but plays with a lot of heart and is capable of creating enough space for himself to get his shot at anytime.  He’s capable of running a team and hitting tough shots, D3 coaches should have his name written down.

6’6 2019 Jelal Williams: North Metro Elite

Williams is an incredibly long 6’6, probably boasting a 6’10 ish wingspan making him an elite rim protector for his size to go with being a high level rebounder on the defensive end.  He’s super mobile and capable of switching onto wing players and doing more than just hold his own.  D2 coaches looking for a 2019 big definitely need to make it a priority to check him out before the month is over.

6’0 2021 Logan Threatt: NC Flames 17U

Threatt looks incredibly comfortable playing up two age groups on a really deep NC Flames team.  He did a great job knocking down perimeter jumpers off the catch and dribble, and did a great job anticipating where the ball was going on the defensive end, getting his hands in there for timely steals.  He definitely projects as a point guard at the next level, but he did a good job playing mostly the 2 in this game.  Definitely watch for him in the near future when he slides back over to the PG spot.

6’2 2019 Darius Jones: Virginia Havoc

Jones is simply a big time shot taker and maker, he finished this one with 5 3s and 22 points and was a consistent presence throughout.  Very comfortable off the catch and dribble shooting the ball, he’s definitely a 2 guard but possesses the ability to initiate offense, bring the ball up the court, and do some combo guard things.  Scholarship coaches need to watch this one.

5’11 2019 Landon Sprigler: Vision Elite

Sprigler is a tough scrappy guard with a really legitimate ability to create off the bounce and finish at the rack.  He’s a super high IQ player that runs his team at a high level getting all of his guys in the right position to succeed and it shows on their W/L record.  Definitely has a legit shot at being a scholarship guy, he’s the kind of Point Guard that every team needs.

6’4 2019 Jon Morgan: Atlanta Timberwolves

Morgan recently made the decision to go prep next year and it looks like it’s going to pay off because he is a no question scholarship player in my mind.  At 6’4 he’s a FREAK athletically, can handle the ball, and really light you up from deep.  The biggest area of improvement is decision making, but regardless he is a next level wing for sure.

6’2 2018 Kentrell Generette: Manzer Basketball Club

Generette does an incredible job competing at a high level 100% of the time he’s on the court which happens to be the entire game due to Manzer only having 5 players.  He is always in attack mode, getting to the rack and the FT line on what feels like every possession.  He displays really nice vision, especially in pick and pop situations with Davis Guyton.  He doesn’t try and do too much on the defensive end, but is always super solid on that end of the court.  D2’s in need of a 1 or a 2 should watch him before the month is over.
