Second Annual Phenom Low Country Showcase

 

Davidson Day (NC) '69 Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach 50

6’5 2020 Jackson Threadgill led the way with a game high 21 points, while teammates 6’8 2020 CJ Huntley and 6’4 2021 Bryce Alfino tallied 18 and 17 points respectively. 6’6 unsigned senior Davis Guyton finished with 21 points including five 3-pointers. Teammate and unsigned senior 6’3 Michael Green chipped in 12 points.

 

Greenville HS (SC) 70 West Ashley (SC) 56

It was a well balanced attack for Greenville HS as 11 different players got into the scoring column. 5’10 2020 Quentin Johnson led the way with 15 points while teammate 6’0 unsigned senior Dorian Williams chipped in 13 points. For West Ashley, it was the 1-2 scoring punch of 6’2 senior Marlon Hill and 6’6 senior Devin Ramsey who scored 17 and 15 points respectively.

 

Woodville Tompkins (GA) 67 First Baptist (SC) 65

This was one of the days most exciting games. Undefeated and Georgia’s number one ranked team in the 2A division rallied to pull out the win down the stretch. 6’5 unsigned senior Preston Crisp was terrific in the win. He had a game high 26 points while 6’3 senior Bernard Pelote and 6’0 senior Charleston Willingham both finished with 14 points apiece. For First Baptist, it was the jet quick 5’11 senior point guard finishing with 19 points while 6’1 senior Devin Dean finished with 13.

 

Cardinal Newman (SC) 73 Berkeley (SC) 65

6’4 Murray State signee Chico Carter finished with a team high 19 points including three nifty “shot fake, step back 3-pointers.” 6’5 unsigned senior Malik Tucker had a solid all around game with 18 points while 6’4 2021 Josh Beadle chipped in 15 points. For Berkeley, 5’9 unsigned senior DJ Chisolm was spectacular in the losing cause. He finished with a game high 24 points while 6’7 senior Ishan White had 16 points.

 

Porter Gaud (SC) 70 Sumter (SC) 53

When 6’7 Tennessee signee Josiah James decides to flick the “on switch”, he can be as dominant player in the entire country. After a modest seven points first half, James erupted for 17 points in the second half; knocking down three 3-pointers and had three crowd pleasing dunks. 6’8 2020 Chase Cannon chipped in 17 points for the game. For Sumter, 6’5 senior Omar Croskey finished with 17 points while 5’8 senior Cody McCoy chipped in 12 points.
