Findlay Prep vs. Silverado'

Final'
Findlay Prep 75 ' Silverado 45

The two teams battled early on in the first'quarter'but Findlay Prep started to attack the paint, where they had a huge advantage with their size and speed from their guards.' In the second half, Silverado did all they could in the third quarter, only being down 50-38 but Findlay Prep pulled away to a 75-45 victory on Thursday.

Silverado

#20 David Byrd (2022): This young man plays poised and under control.' Playing at such a young age, it is hard for players at such a young age to run an offense, head up and under control. He showed that while also knowing down a few outside shots.' This is a young man to keep an eye on for Silverado down the road.

Findlay Prep

Keon Edwards (2021): Edwards is already ranked as one of the top targets early on for the 2021 class and standing at 6'7, he brings excitement to the table.' The versatility and shot-making
capability from all over the floor'
is'high, and he is confident with his jumper for such a young age.' Playing with Findlay, he isn't always capable of showing his scoring true threat scoring wise, but it is there.' He has no issue in pouring it on at any time.' His length already is incredibly on both ends, being a tough shot blocker and rising over defenders.''

Raymond Hawkins (2019): Hawkins is an intriguing senior forward that brings size and strength to the'table'but he is very nimble on his feet, which certainly is surprising.' He has no issue defending along the outside, running the floor in transition and showing offensive skills with a mid-range jumper.' Still could work on finishing strong around the rim with his size (he did twice in transition with a strong dunks) but there is no surprise why he has several high-major offers.

Zachary Clemence (2021): I think this young man is only scratching the surface and high-level programs will be coming his way shortly.' He just received an offer from'Baylor'but more should be heading his way.' He has incredible size at 6'9 but is a skilled big man that is light on his feet, active, and he showcased his ability to find his teammates.' He also displayed an ability to step out, defend and knock down an open shot, but absolutely loved his work, feel, and touch around the rim.' One of the best moves we saw when he stepped out from the three, put the ball on the deck and in one dribble, finished softly around the rim.' This is a young man that is only going to get better and'rise up'the rankings.'Stats: 15 points

Taryn Todd (2019): The 6'3 guard displayed the ability to finish at the rim, be a true ball handler for an offense, but also play off the ball.' He can put the ball on the deck and get to the rim, using a soft touch.' Teams will also like his ability to play on-the-ball defense, really getting up in defenders and being active.' He has great body control and an ability to adjust when attacking.' The blow-by ability in transition is also a strong point in his game.'Stats: 20 points

Saba'Gigiberia'(2020): Hard to not see a 7'0 junior but this is a young man that still looks to be learning the game and his abilities.' He continues to stay active, but this is a big that will only get stronger and one that coaches may need to continue to work with on the offensive end.' He transferred from the Republic of Georgia and the potential is there.' What you have to like is that he can finish around the rim, is active on the boards, and still has room to grow.

Sidy'Diallo (2022): a 7'1 freshman catches your'eye'but he received some late minutes in this one.' In limited action, you like how he stays active, runs the floor on both ends, and gets to his spot.' Still so young but put this young man in your deck of kids to watch down the road as he continues to develop.'
