Five Prospects on the Rise from Phenom Southern Jam

6’2 ’21 Kylon Lewis (Upward Stars Richmond) It was quite a week for Kylon Lewis, who was the unquestioned leader of this Upward Stars Richmond squad, and watching him perform left us with numerous takeaways. He’s a long- armed guard that scored the ball at will, each...

Five Intriguing Names from Phenom Southern Jam That College Coaches Need to Look at

6’3 ’19 Jett Fortuny (WCBA) There’s not much more to say about the WCBA sharpshooter. It seems like this program adds and nurtures a new prospect every year, from guys like Connor Crabtree and Colton Reed to Patrick Dorsey and Ryan Shaffer, and now Jett Fortuny. His...

Brandon’s Big Time Ballers Pt 2

The Phenom Southern Jam Showcase was a picking grounds for low major division ones to the NAIA schools in attendance. With all the big boys out of town this was a prime week for staffs to discover diamonds in the rough and get the jump on some sleepers. This time of...

Bendel’s Best: Phenom Southern Jam

The travel season ended on Sunday, allowing these players to apply some rest to their bodies and properly recover from what can be a grueling summer. There were a lot of quality prospects in the building over the week and many guys received offers from their...

Sunday Afternoon Standouts at Phenom Southern Jam

Carolina Dream Team 6’5 ’20 Daymond Tinsley- The strong-bodied forward was among the most versatile prospects on Championship Sunday. He has nice length and frequently uses it on offense for finishes over defenders. He alters plenty of shots, but still possesses...

Sunday Morning Standouts at Phenom Southern Jam

Palmetto City Hurricanes 5’8 ’22 Jazian Gortman- The wing prospect was the most polished player on either team during their first contest. He does a lot of things well, but his ability to generate and convert shots on a regular basis is pretty uncommon, especially for...

Southern Jam Fest 2 Player Standouts

6’6 2019 Marlowe Gilmore- A long armed player with a ton of athleticism and a decent skill set. Marlowe’s calling card is always his defense and his ability to defend 4/5 positions on the court at any point. However, it never hurts when he gets breakout steals and...

Flomo’s Fab Five+ : #PhenomSouthernJam II Championship Sunday PT. 1

Championship Sunday is always the most exciting day for me, it's a chance to see which players can still perform at a high level after competing in 5-6 games in a short time span. With that being said, here are the players who stepped up and stood out: 2020 6’0 Jeremy...

Phenom’s Southern Jam (Session 2) — Championship Sunday Afternoon Standouts

Afternoon Hoopers Team Wall – Marion 6’1” 2019 Sabien Nero Nero has a great frame with the ball on a string. He is aggressive in getting to the paint and he showed the ability to score the ball well in the paint. He is a strong player with the ball in his hands and he...

Phenom Summer Jam (Session Two) Day 3 Early Day Standouts

5’11 2021 Khalil Marshall: WCBA 16U Marshall is a bonafide problem playing up an age group with a really talented WCBA 16U group and he can kill you from either guard spot.  he knows how to run a team as a score first player without settling for bad shots, yet still...
