What Was Said by Phenom Hoops:

'Cole Anthony was poetry in motion on Saturday Night, super smooth, extremely controlled, and was arguably the best player on the court despite only scoring seven points.' With Steve Smith absent, he was the coach on the floor, running his team to the best of his abilities, he had a couple passes that just made your jaw drop.' A one-handed half-court lob to Christian Brown, and a between the legs drop off to Kofi Cockburn for the big slam.' He continues to impress in all aspects of the game, and I haven't even seen him when he takes the game over scoring the ball.' Soooooo much fun to watch.' ' Miles Masercola, Battle at the Rock 2018

'Offensively, he's going to dictate a lot of the action (like normal) and should be able to consistently create scoring opportunities for the team. As a prospect, he's capable of anything on the basketball floor. Some people have voiced concerns about his three-point shooting, but Anthony frequently applies pressure from the perimeter and should open the eyes of many during this upcoming season. His IQ and playmaking instincts are truly phenomenal, unlike any other floor general in the country. Very few players can match his combination of strength and shot creation abilities, which is a large part of his uniqueness as a player. Anthony understands how to absorb contact and manipulate opposing defenses inside the arc whenever he desires. His demeanor and eat-or-be-eaten mentality should easily set the tone on defense, especially as a point-of-attack defender.' ' Jeff Bendel

'Anthony honestly could get anywhere he wanted on the floor with his mid-range jumper, handles, and ability to finish with either hand.' He had some mishaps a few times but overall, he had a great game.' He scored in transition with his jumpers and found his teammates like he always does.' One thing we saw is how he competed on the defensive end and rebounding.' Loved what we saw but it was just another day in the office for Anthony.' ' Phenom Hoops from Nike's Own the Game Invitational 2019

'Anthony showed why he is the top prospect in basketball, and it goes much further than his basketball skill set. He is an incredible leader. During the dunk contest, Anthony was in the middle of the floor, pumping up the crowd cheering on his teammate. At the end of the game, down 4 with 2 minutes to play, he looked calmly at each of his teammates eyes and said, 'give me the ball and say calm. We got this.' It was uncanny how 4 and 5-stars look to him, trust him and listen to him. Then you got the skill set. Deep range with great touch, ball on a string handle, excellent change of pace to pair with a jet-quick first step and then there is that 40'+ vertical. He's got the entire package.'
