Gabe Bryant Commits to Gardner Webb

The things Gabe Bryant is able to do on the basketball court is borderline freakish. Standing at 6'9' and weighing in at 240 pounds, Bryant has extreme explosion and plays with a non-stop motor that is always running hot.
Gabe wasn't always a force of nature, he started off as a baby deer and progressed into a bull in a china shop. When we first saw Gabe, his freshman year playing 15u with Upward Stars SE, in Phenom's Challenge Live, you could see the upside. He had great size and played with a toughness.
The small school Christian feel of Gardner Webb fit exactly what Bryant was looking for. Despite picking up over 15 offers, Gardner Webb checked all the boxes. Bryant decided to stay home. He joins 6'3' wing Jaylen Alston of Eastern Guilford High School in North Carolina (also committed this weekend) in Gardner Webb's 2018 recruiting class.

Bryant is a 6'9 guy with a solid frame. He knows how to create space using his body, and has a good feel for the game. He can also dribble which allows him to attack the basket if he does slide out to the wing. Bryant has excellent footwork in the post and loves to dunk the ball every chance he gets. Running with such a talented Dorman HS squad he will be able to play his game and continue to improve.

Bryant has a good frame and is incredibly bouncy. He goes after every rebound and plays the game with a bullish tenacity. Bryant's camp coach Blake Hall stated,''Gabe had a great attitude in camp. He rebounded and defended with intensity.'Currently Bryant carries a Presbyterian offer.

Gabe Bryant is a fiery player, this much we know. He is a player who plays full throttle, with a non stop motor, bull in a china shop type attitude. He gets pumped up, he yells and screams and is able to flip a game's momentum in a quick minute's time. He had numerous times where he got his team rolling with his freak athleticism. On one 3 play sequence, Bryant had a huge put back dunk, a back board rattling pin block and then a drop step dunk'His team, the fans, the coaches were all on their feet, clapping and yelling from Bryant's high wire acrobatics.
