6’7” 2019 Brice Williams
Hopewell HS (NC)

Williams is one of the more under the radar prospects in North Carolina. Williams comes from great stock as his father is Charlotte’s all time leading scorer. Standing 6’7” and weighing in at 190 pounds Williams averaged 18 points and shot close to 38% from 3. A true wing, he is aggressive off the bounce, a solid rebounder and has good court awareness. It is perplexing why mid major programs are not all over him. Lafayette and Charlotte are his current offers, more should be swarming.

6’6” 2019 Matt Smith
Independence HS (NC)

Smith was arguable the NCHSAA 4A defending state champion’s most valuable piece last year. Smith is an excellent defender, able to guard the 2-4 with length and athleticism. He is a great rebounder and a player who goes out with the purpose to make winning plays. Smith carries offers from the likes of UMass, App St, Radford, UNCG, ETSU, and more.

6’5” 2019 Cortez Marion Holmes
Northside Christian (NC)

Marion-Holmes is one of those high level glue guys who does everything well. With great athleticism and length, Marion-Holmes is able to shut down the oppositions best perimeter guy. Offensively, he is great on the boards and really excels 15 feet and in. He moves well off the ball and always seems to come up with the winning play. No offers now, however he should have 5-10 after coaches see him in July.

6’2” 2019 Nas Tyson
Forest Hills (NC)

Tyson is the unquestioned leader of the defending 2A NCHSAA state champion. The strong guard plays both ends with a purpose. He shoots the ball well from beyond the arc and is able to get to the rim. Defensively, he moves his feet well at the point of attack and uses his strength and quickness in the passing lanes. He is a winner, someone who makes his team better. Tyson carries a Hampton offer and should have more D1s coming in.
