Record Last Season:  26-5 | Lost in Regional Finals to State Champions WS-Prep

Returning Starters:

6’2 ’19 SG Jackson Gabriel

Gabriel was one of the leaders on last year’s team, averaging 17 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 2.3 steals on a nightly basis. He has been a three-time All-Conference selection, two-time All-District 10, and two-time All-Gaston Gazette selection. Gabriel has totaled 1476 career points, 319 career 3 pointers made (3rd All-Time in NC). He currently holds Campbell, Lipscomb, Navy, Presbyterian, and Wofford. The big-time shooter will likely see an uptick in averages as he heads into his senior season.

6’3 ’19 SF Levontae Knox

Knox looks to raise the bar entering his senior season after averaging 13points, 8.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.5 steals per game as a junior. The two-time All- Conference, All-Gaston Gazette, and All-District wing will be one of the most intriguing unsigned seniors in North Carolina. He has totaled 1078 career points. Currently, Knox holds an offer from Appalachian State and interest from Lipscomb, VMI, and Winthrop.

Returning Players:

6’0 ’20 PG Axel Holm

Holm is a smooth-shooting lefty. He can score from anywhere and is strong off the bounce.  Played behind Kody Shubert last season, so minutes were limited. Expect Holm to have a strong year. Currently, he holds interest from Colombia, Milligan College, and Yale. Holm plays for Team Loaded 704 16U team.

6’5 ’20 SF Dimitri McCall

McCall is a very athletic wing forward who can finish in transition and will step out to knock down three-pointers. He’s looking to have a breakout season.  McCall laid in the shadows of Jehlon Johnson last season and will now get a chance to shine.  Has a college-ready and can be seen playing for Team Loaded 704 16U team

6’2 ’19 SF Hunter Herrick

Herrick is Mr. Hustle on this team.  He will make some noise this year by doing all the small, dirty work.  Herrick didn’t see a ton of time last season with three seniors in front of him but he’s already having a great summer and could earn quality minutes as a senior.

6’0 ’20 PG Tron Robinson

High IQ player who will see some time this season. Robinson makes great plays and has a nice, smooth midrange game.

6’0 ’20 PG Joseph Rhodes

Rhodes is a very athletic guard and the best on-ball defender on the team. He will fight for a starting position as the floor general.

Top Newcomers:

6’0 ’22 PG Daylin Pritchard

Pritchard will start as a freshman. He’s comparable to Kody Shubert and might have more basketball savvy than Shubert at the same point in time. Pritchard led our middle school team to three straight conference championships and undefeated seasons.  Might become Lincoln Charter’s biggest recruit by his senior year.  He can shoot, dribble, pass and finish at a quality level. Pritchard makes everyone better and seemingly always makes the right play. He plays for Team CP3 15U.

6’2 ’21 SG Troy Fulton

Fulton can and will shoot the three-pointer from anywhere on the court.  He runs the floor well and picks his spots effectively.  Fulton was the leading scorer on the JV team, which won 18 games last season; he’s a good defender who will get better.  He hit 11 three-pointers in a game last season as a freshman.  Look for Fulton to surprise teams as soon as he enters the game, since he can make an immediate impact in games.

6’3 ’22 SF Austin Ginlie

Ginlie helped the middle school team to an undefeated season.  He’s very talented and has a motor that never stops; he can bang inside or go outside and stroke from three-point range. Ginlie is quite mature for his age and will pose a challenge for the starting position at the 4/5 spot. He’s a very confident, competitive player.

6’4 ’21 SF Carter Sietz

Sietz is the son of a coach, so his high IQ is fairly evident. The big body can bang inside, set solid screens and can step out and make three-pointers at a consistent rate. Sietz will see a lot of court time this year.
