6’8” Joey Baker (Team Felton)
Duke Commit
#21 via 247Sports
Baker has been a hot name since he started on varsity his 8th grade year. Baker is one of the more fundamentally sound players with a smooth jump shot and range. However, what is so incredibly impressive about his game is his footwork. His ability to get to his open spots and create space with his feet is well advanced beyond a high school junior. Baker is committed to Duke and a consensus 5-star prospect.

6’6” Wendell Moore (Team CP3)
#23 via 247Sports
Moore is one of the more accomplished players, in the country, for this age group. He is coming off back to back state championships in high school, his AAU program won the 16u Peach Jam last year and he is a starter for the USA National team at his age group. There is not much more left to accomplish and even though he is ranked 23rd, this is at least 10-15 spots too low. The ultimate teammate, Moore is as elite level a prospect as there could be.

6’6” Juwan Gary (Team United)
#47 via 247Sports
Not one player in this region improved his stock over this past season more than Gary. Gary has always had the tools, but the light clicked and Gary spent his junior year coming at EVERYONE’s heads. It was truly a great thing to watch. As this mentality continues through the summer look for him to jump 20+ spots in the rankings and push for 5-star and McDonald’s All American status.

6’8” Greg Gantt (Team Felton)
#65 via Rivals.com
Gantt excels with the little things and this is what has made him a highly sought after prospect. He is a high level, if not elite level, defender. Able to lock on the 2-4 positions right now and as he gets into college can do some spot duty on some 5s. He is a tireless worker and a natural leader and has great court sense and awareness. Think UVa captain Isaiah Wilkins when thinking of Gantt.

6’8” Patrick Williams (Team United)
#76 via Rivals.com
Williams may have more long term upside than any prospect on this list. He stands at a lengthy and strong 6’8”. Williams is incredibly explosive and plays with a great pace, handling the ball in the half and full court. He sees the court well and can shoot the ball beyond the arc. As we mentioned before, a look at this list in 5 years and Williams has the upside to be the clear winner. If the NC Top 80 is any indication, Williams is coming at dude’s heads. What Juwan Gary did this past season, look for Williams to possibly do this upcoming season.

6’4” Donovan Gregory (Team Charlotte)
#82 via 247Sports
Energy, Burst, Motor, Explosion…these are all words that can accurately describe Donovan Gregory’s game. The lengthy wing is a multi-positional defender, he is an absolute blur in transition and he has the ability to flip a game on its head with powerful dunks. He is a winner and it is good to see a guy who hustles and defends and makes a concerted effort to win every 50/50 ball get this type of notoriety.
